The difference between towline cable (TRVV) and RVV

Share:
TRVV cable is a flexible drag chain cable, while RVV is just a household power cord. The towline cable is a highly flexible cable that moves back and forth with the towline and is not easy to wear. The towline cable is mainly used in industrial electronic systems, automatic generation lines, storage equipment, robots, fire fighting systems, cranes, CNC machine tools, and metallurgical industries.

Difference:

1. Conductor: TRVV and RVV cable conductors are all finely stranded with annealed oxygen-free copper wire, but the conductor cross-sectional area of TRVV cable is smaller than that of RVV sheathed wire, so TRVV is thinner on the conductor.

2. Insulation: TRVV is a special thermoplastic elastic insulating material, while RVV is just an ordinary PVC material. There are differences in the flexibility of the cable, and the flexibility of TRVV is much better.

3. Sheath: TRVV sheath is made of mixed PVC soft, wear-resistant, and torsion-resistant material, RVV is made of ordinary PVC sheath material.

4. Laying method: TRVV cable can be used in mobile, while RVV can only be used in fixed installation places.

5. Service life: Due to the difference between the ambient temperature and the bending radius of the two cables, the service life of TRV cables is longer than that of RVV.
