AAAC – All Aluminum Alloy Conductor
APPLICATION
AAAC (all-aluminum alloy conductor) is made of multiple aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy wires twisted together. It is widely used in transmission lines with voltage levels of 35kV and above. It is an important conductor choice for energy saving and efficient operation of modern power grids.
Compared with traditional AAC or ACSR, AAAC has higher strength and excellent corrosion resistance, and is particularly suitable for coastal, highly polluted, high-temperature or ice and snow areas. It is light in weight, has strong conductivity, is easy to construct, can effectively reduce the load on the tower, and extend the service life of the line.
